Having been a resident of this beautiful island for some time now, I have gotten to learn a thing or two about what makes Maui such a special and unique place to live. One such reason that so many of us love the island is for her natural beauty that can be appreciated from the fairways of some of the world’s most immaculate golf courses! And today I’m going to fill you in on a few of my favorite golf courses on the island. Check them out!
1. The Kaanapali Golf Courses: Kaanapali is not just a place to shop, eat, take a boat ride and swim in the shadow of a famous cliff, it’s also an area where you can indulge in one of our favorite past times – golf. Here at the Kaanapali Golf Courses, you will have access to 36 holes of great challenging courses as well as views you can’t find anywhere else. You can choose from the Royal Kaanapali Course or the Kaanapali Kai Course where both courses have options for players at all levels.
2. The Dunes Maui Lani: Not on the west side but still a great place to play the great game of golf. At the Dunes at Maui Lani, you’ll be pleased to know you can enjoy the beauty of the West Maui Mountains, Mt. Haleakala, and so much more from the fairway at the Dunes at Maui Lani. Also on site is a restaurant so you can grab a bite to eat after a long day on the green.
3. Kapalua Golf Course: Now here is hands-down one of my favorites! While the Kapalua Golf Course has undergone some upgrades, the Plantation Course is open for your enjoyment from Wednesday through Sunday with tee times available early in the morning. Take in the multi-island views of Molokai and Lanai, the Pacific Ocean and the West Maui mountains all in one space at the Kapalua Golf Course. Check it out today and let me know what you think.
That’s just a few of the best golf courses on Maui. Now for a list of some of the best homes for sale on Maui, I have that for you too.
