The Cameron Center is a nonprofit facility that was established in 1973. Currently, 19 nonprofit organizations operate within the center, providing over 100 programs to around 50,000 Maui residents. It is located at 95 Mahalani in Wailuku, Hawaii, close to the hospital and police station.

8th Annual Sophie Swim: Dive into Adventure at Kahekili Beach Park
Join us for the 8th Annual Sophie Swim, taking place from 6:45 AM to 11:00 AM on August 27th, 2023, at the beautiful Kahekili Beach Park. This exciting event brings together swimming enthusiasts for a thrilling open-water race along the picturesque shoreline. Participants can expect a fun and challenging morning filled with camaraderie, friendly competition, and the stunning backdrop of Kahekili Beach Park.
This event is being hosted by Sophie Deloria Foundation, and all proceeds from the event will be donated to the Foundation, which uses the funds to support local organizations in the community. These organizations focus on providing swimming, dance, and music activities for children. This year marks the 8th anniversary of the event, and we welcome community residents and visitors of all ages to join in on the fun swim.
On race day, registration will be open from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM at the Pavilion. The youth race will start at 8:00 AM and the adult race will start at 8:15 AM. Don’t forget that it’s mandatory to wear a swim cap, but don’t worry as one will be provided for you.
