Fly Above The Valley Isle

Maui is the number one destination for people seeking a tropical getaway in paradise. The island is often referred to as “the valley isle.” Our valleys are lush with indigenous plants and teeming with wildlife. The island’s landscape can vary drastically depending on where you are and there is no better way to take it all in than from the air.

Luckily you don’t need a drone to experience Maui from the sky!Maui has many options for helicopter tours including Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, Sunshine Helicopters and Air Maui. All are outstanding and have been around for many years.

Blue Hawaiian offers package tours of West Maui, West Maui & Molokai, Hana & Haleakala, the complete island, and Maui paired with the Big Island. Sunshine Helicopter does tours of Hana & Haleakala, West Maui with Hana & Haleakala and a Molokai Deluxe Tour. Air Maui offers tours of West Maui & Molokai, Hana & Haleakala and the entire island. If you have a special event in mind, all three companies do private charter tours. The destination is up to you!

West Maui, a common helicopter destination features Pu’u Kukui, home to 300 native plant species. It is the highest point on the West side at a height of 5,788 feet. Because much of this area is inaccessible, it can only be viewed from the sky! Here you can also discover the famous “Wall of Tears,” a steep cliff covered by at least 17 waterfalls deep in the mountains.

Of course, Haleakala, Maui’s resident volcano is a top destination. At 10,023 feet above sea level, it doubles the height of the West Maui Mountains, making it one of the world’s tallest mountains. This tour is often paired with Hana, a town isolated from the rest of the island with rugged coastlines, spectacular waterfalls and untouched nature.

Book today and treat yourself to extraordinary views of regal West Maui, Haleakala, pineapple plantations and even neighboring islands!
